These plants are freshwater plants that thrive when their roots are exposed to light, thus making them excellent plants to use on driftwood or other ornaments. They are a dark, rich green compared to other common freshwater plants such as the Amazon Sword. Their leaves range from a tear drop shape to an oval with a point. They tend to be smaller than most freshwater plants, ranging from 3-7" inches wide.
